Come along and meet us!

We have a Club Room in the undercroft of Carlisle railway station and we meet there weekly on Wednesday evenings

The Club Room contains our large oval finescale layout, Kinchley Lane, available for the running and testing of rolling stock

Wednesdays are our layout maintenance evenings although it is usually possible to allow some running, we also hold regular Saturday running days

_______

Our monthly Committee Meeting, which all members may attend, is usually held on the last Monday of the month in The Haywain pub at Little Corby (near Carlisle). After the conclusion of formal business we enjoy a convivial chat with model railways, naturally, being the main topic of conversation. Members will sometimes bring models to the meeting for inspection and discussion, and for entry into our Annual Modelling Competition

From time to time we organise other activities such as visits to modelling exhibitions and preserved railways, etc., and our annual Christmas Dinner

_________

You are welcome to come along and meet us any Wednesday or on Saturday running days in the Club Room. Please contact David Gibson, our Secretary, who will be pleased to give you directions, explain parking and access, and informally introduce you to the other CDOGG members
