Latest News Our main layout, Kinchley Lane, is loosely based upon a typical wayside station upon the Great Central Railway London Extension in Leicestershire. The buildings are close portrayal of those at Quorn and Woodhouse on the Great Central heritage railway. Construction of the layout is well advanced with all track laid, the illuminated control panel fully operational and the main scenic section nearing completion The finescale layout provides facilities for the running and testing of DC and DCC models, with the substantial scenic section providing opportunities for realistic operation of the station and interest for visitors We have a small exhibition layout which can be seen from time to time at various model railway exhibitions in the north of England Visiting our Clubroom
